This is a short, original poem I wrote for the end of my Blogging for Business – A Beginners Guide. It seemed to go down well and I was asked to share it.

Blogging for Business – A Short Poem

Be passionate, be you!

Make a note of blogs to do

Content really is king

When you are blogging

Entertain and inform as well

Don’t just sell, sell, sell

Try to solve a reader’s pain

They’ll come back to read again

Do the title last of all

Make it something to enthral

Using images or nice pics

That will get you lots of clicks

Short paragraphs work best

Got to keep their interest

Satisfy the Google Robot

Use key words but not a lot

Tell people what to do

Sign up, share or comment too

Put it out on social media

It really couldn’t be much easier

Make the most of everything

Re-use, update, re-post again

Get out the laptop start to write

Use the rules and get it right

Now you know about the flow

It’s time for you to have a go!
